The co-founders behind Union Allegro e.V.
A physician by training, Georg has spent more than twenty years living in and travelling through Latin America, and has a deep admiration for the community of the La Laguna region.
He became involved with Comedor Santa Cecilia in Torreón in 2018, while looking for a cause to commit to — and chose the Comedor because it depends entirely on volunteers and donors to keep its doors open.
Ying grew up between Taiwan, Argentina and Los Angeles and now lives in Germany. An international business career taught Ying how to bring people and resources together.
Ying co-founded Union Allegro to support migrants in Mexico, believing that what matters most about the problems we see is “showing up and doing something about them.”
Greta is a lawyer specialising in public procurement law and volunteers at a local prison.
She co-founded Union Allegro because rights only matter if people can actually access them — and her work centres on responsibility, opportunity and dignity for everyone.
Your donation keeps Comedor Santa Cecilia open every day of the year.
