A joint German-Mexican project
Union Allegro began in 2019 with a simple impulse: to support the Comedor Santa Cecilia, a soup kitchen serving migrants passing through Torreón, México. Since then, it has grown into a binational project with members and volunteers in both Germany and México with two goals — caring for migrants directly, and raising awareness of their situation among Mexicans and Germans alike.
